THE STUDIOS (pictures of the actors)
Before the January weekend I had a chance to visit Emmerdale Production. I and my friend Riitta had been spending time with my old pen pal Judy and her husband Clive in East Yorkshire and took a train to Leeds and a taxi to the studios. The receptionist Jules Bywell knew I was coming.
I also met Production Controller Tim Fee briefly in the canteen, and he told me I can speak to the actors when I see them. I did not want to disturb them all too much, so I just hang around in the lobby.
Apart from the ones who appear in pictures I talked to Mark Charnock (Marlon), Paula Tilbrook (Betty) and Chris Chittell (Eric), who gave me another kiss and claimed he remembered me from the spring.
Ben Freeman and Nicky Evans (Scott and Roy) ran so quickly through the lobby I had no chance to catch them, or also I was talking to somebody else. Not only Kevin Palister was leaving, also Sally Walsh (Lyn) left with a huge buquet of flowers, but unfortunately I'd just been powdering my nose.
The rest of the pictures are from the studio sets, taken either in January or on some other studio tour. Paula Yli-Kovero from Emmerdale trip 3 takes magnifient pictures and I've included some of those (P).
